Senior Data Analyst, Revenue @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran is seeking a Senior Data Analyst, Revenue to support the CFO and Finance organization. The role focuses on understanding, forecasting, and modeling the economic engine of the business, providing insights that influence company strategy and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated revenue models to project, attribute, analyze, and understand revenue and customer behavior.
• Own revenue attribution and design frameworks that connect revenue to various business dimensions.
• Build and improve revenue forecasting models using statistical methods and machine learning.
• Create data models, pipelines, and automated systems for timely analytics and reporting.
• Ensure high quality by developing validation, testing, and quality-assurance processes for financial data.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership to translate business questions into analytical frameworks.
• Conduct in-depth analyses to inform critical business decisions regarding strategy and resource allocation.
• Embody ownership and improve existing systems and methodologies for analytical processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence, or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, logic, statistics, and analytical problem-solving.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for data quality and analytical rigor.
• Excellent communication skills for data storytelling and presenting complex findings.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and manage analytical problems independently.
• A builder mindset with a focus on creating frameworks and tools for better decision-making.
