Senior Director of Engineering @Lattice

Overview

Lattice is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead its Talent Engineering organization. This role involves overseeing a team of over 50 engineers and managers, focusing on product development and strategic partnerships to enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Talent Engineering organization, balancing customer needs, product priorities, and engineering investments.
• Coach and develop engineering managers and senior leaders while enhancing leadership and organizational health.
• Ensure a reliable experience for global customers while enabling rapid product development.
• Partner with Product and Design to define and prioritize the product strategy and roadmap.
• Represent Lattice in discussions with key prospects and customers.
• Collaborate with the Engineering leadership team to establish department-wide strategies and goals.
• Scale systems, processes, and practices that help teams plan, deliver, and learn effectively.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering management experience, with at least 5 years leading a multi-team engineering organization.
• Experience managing engineering investments across a product portfolio with effective resource allocation.
• Track record of shipping high-quality products focused on customer success.
• Ability to demonstrate autonomy, ownership, and sound judgment.
• Proven ability to develop engineering leaders and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence.
• Curiosity about AI and its role in talent development.
