Senior Director of Engineering @Lattice

Overview

Lattice’s Engineering team is focused on enhancing People + AI integration in talent management. The role involves leading the Talent Engineering organization and advancing tools that utilize AI for improved insights in areas such as Performance Management and Engagement Surveys.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Talent Engineering organization, managing over 50 engineers and managers across multiple products while balancing customer needs and engineering investments.
• Coach and develop engineering managers and senior leaders, enhancing leadership and organizational health.
• Ensure a reliable customer experience globally while maintaining a rapid product development pace.
• Collaborate with Product and Design partners to define and prioritize product strategy and roadmap.
• Represent Lattice in discussions with key prospects and customers.
• Work with the broader Engineering leadership team to shape departmental strategy and goals.
• Scale systems, processes, and practices for effective planning and delivery across teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering management experience, with at least 5 years leading a multifaceted engineering organization.
• Experience managing product engineering investments and making tradeoffs under resource constraints.
• History of delivering high-quality products emphasizing trust, reliability, and scalability.
• Strong autonomy, ownership, and judgment, with a CEO mindset.
• Proven ability to develop engineering talent across different levels.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and an eye for quality products.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-departmental decisions.
• Interest in AI and its potential for enhancing organizational development.
