Overview

Lattice is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead its Talent Engineering organization, which consists of over 50 engineers and managers. The role focuses on enhancing the company’s people management suite with AI-powered experiences, improving performance outcomes for businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Talent Engineering organization, managing a portfolio of customer-facing products and balancing customer needs with product priorities.
• Coach and develop engineering managers and senior leaders to enhance leadership and organizational health.
• Ensure a reliable experience for customers while enabling rapid product development.
• Collaborate with Product and Design partners to define and prioritize product strategy and roadmap.
• Represent Lattice in discussions with key customers and prospects.
• Work with the broader Engineering leadership team to shape department strategy and goals.
• Scale systems and practices that support effective planning and reliable delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering management experience, with at least 5 years leading a multi-team engineering organization.
• Experience in managing engineering investments and making tradeoffs with limited resources.
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality products with a focus on customer success.
• Strong autonomy, ownership, and sound judgment in decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to develop engineering leaders, both individual contributors and managers.
• Effective cross-functional collaboration skills and product insight.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence across the organization.
• Curiosity about AI and its impact on talent management.
