• Build belief in the business by owning the narrative behind financial results in collaboration with Investor Relations, Finance, and Capital Markets.
• Lead communications around key milestones such as earnings and funding, ensuring continuity in storytelling.
• Establish trust with business and financial reporters, acting as a primary source for information.
• Counsel and prepare executives for high-stakes media interactions.
• Ensure alignment between business communications and Affirm's overall messaging.

Requirements

• 12+ years in communications, especially within high-growth and public companies.
• Established media relationships with national business and financial reporters.
• Fluency in understanding public company dynamics including earnings and capital markets.
• Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate it effectively.
• Proficient writing skills for clarity and engagement on financial topics.
• Proactive approach to shaping narratives.
• Excellent judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Strong collaborative skills, working with multiple departments.
