Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting @Doximity

Overview

Doximity is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to join their Accounting organization. This role, reporting directly to the VP of Accounting, will involve leading the preparation of external financial reporting and ensuring compliance with SEC and U.S. GAAP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of SEC filings (e.g., Form 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy) and manage the review process with external auditors and senior management.
• Prepare or review quarterly financial statements, earnings per share calculations, and disclosure checklists.
• Manage quarterly reporting, auditor PBC requests, and auditor reviews.
• Prepare or review monthly journal entries and accounting analyses related to stock-based compensation.
• Lead the research and documentation of technical accounting conclusions under US GAAP.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial reporting and accounting processes.
• Monitor and revise procedures to ensure the adequacy of internal controls over financial reporting.

Requirements

• BA or BS in finance/accounting, CPA.
• 6-8 years of financial reporting and technical accounting experience in the technology industry or public accounting.
• Experience with stock-based compensation under ASC 718 in a publicly traded company.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace.
• Experience with NetSuite, Etrade Equity Edge Online, or Clearwater is a plus.
• Experience with automation or AI applications is a plus.
