Overview

The Senior Marketing Decision Scientist II will shape how marketing performance is measured and optimized, influencing investment decisions and customer growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end marketing measurement strategy across various channels, unifying approaches to guide investment.
- Design, launch, and analyze experiments and causal inference studies to inform targeting and decision-making.
- Build and productionize predictive models using SQL and Python or R, ensuring data quality through collaboration with data engineering.
- Create executive-ready dashboards that track KPIs and translate insights into prioritized recommendations.
- Collaborate with finance and marketing leadership on forecasting and scenario planning, presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment while elevating analytical standards through peer reviews and mentorship.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in marketing analytics or data science within technology or e-commerce.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and either Python or R.
- Experience in designing marketing experiments and applying causal inference techniques.
- Track record of implementing marketing measurement approaches for budget allocation.
- Experience building dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or Mode.
- Familiarity with data warehouses and version control.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
