Senior People Operations Generalist, EMEA @Harvey

Overview

Harvey is seeking a Senior People Operations Generalist to join their global People Operations team. This role involves supporting the onboarding, compliance, and HR inquiries for the entire global workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, changes, leaves, exits, and more.
• Own global compliance programs, building and maintaining processes related to right-to-work, statutory leave, GDPR/data protection, and more.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and external partners during EMEA/JAPAC hours.
• Collaborate with global payroll and EOR platforms to address country-specific new hire and offboarding requirements.
• Document global processes by building and maintaining SOPs.
• Represent the People Ops team on EMEA/JAPAC matters, exercising good judgment regarding timing of communications.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including People Systems, Legal, IT, Payroll, and Workplace teams based in the US.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of HR/People Ops experience, preferably in a multi-country organization.
• Experience managing compliance programs, including building and improving processes.
• In-depth knowledge of employment law and compliance within EMEA and/or JAPAC.
• Familiarity with GDPR and HR data protection requirements.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll platforms such as Workday, Deel, or Remote.
• Proven ability to work independently within a global, distributed team.
• Strategic mindset with strong program and project management skills.
• Excellent written communication skills for effective collaboration across time zones.
