Senior Product Manager, Logs - Observability @Elastic

Overview

The role involves joining the Elastic Observability product team as a Senior Product Manager, focusing on logs and logs analytics capabilities. The position aims to enhance customer experience in full stack Observability by managing logs collected from applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Evolving logs analytics capabilities in alignment with company strategy.
• Influencing the end-to-end lifecycle for logs collection, ingestion, and management.
• Building features that cater to modern Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including GenAI integration and automated tracking.
• Collaborating with Engineering, UX, Design, and other teams to enhance application monitoring experiences.
• Working with Sales & Marketing on go-to-market strategies and feature adoption.
• Tracking user engagement to inform product evolution.

Requirements

• 3+ years in product management or a related field.
• Technical experience in logs analytics.
• Knowledge of Observability and performance monitoring domains.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convert abstract problems into concrete solutions.
• Interest in industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Experience in a remote, globally distributed environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI is a plus.
