Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions @Elastic

Overview

Elastic Security is seeking a Senior Product Manager to oversee the Elastic XDR roadmap. This role involves working closely with engineering teams and security customers to enhance detection-and-response products.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap from requirements to product iteration.
• Expand and maintain telemetry and integrations relied upon by XDR.
• Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management, focusing on exploitability.
• Draft clear engineering requirements based on customer input and threat research.
• Engage in customer conversations to gather insights for the roadmap.
• Ensure product capabilities function across various deployment models.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and market strategies.
• Create visibility artifacts like roadmap trackers and decision memos.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in security-related technical product management.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, or forensics.
• Comfort with building products that integrate heterogeneous third-party data.
• Strong comprehension of analytics techniques and the current cyber threat landscape.
• Technical credibility with a solid understanding of architecture.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
• A BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security.
