Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions @Elastic

Overview

Elastic is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Elastic Security to help build and grow Elastic XDR, focusing on detection-and-response products and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap from requirements to shipped product.
• Expand and maintain the telemetry and integrations for XDR.
• Contribute to Elastic's exposure and vulnerability management work.
• Write clear, actionable requirements for engineering.
• Represent the product in customer conversations with senior security stakeholders.
• Ensure capabilities work across various deployment models.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and go-to-market strategies.
• Create clear artifacts like roadmap trackers and decision memos for stakeholder visibility.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in security-related technical product management.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, or forensic.
• Comfort in building products with heterogeneous third-party data.
• Understanding of analytics techniques related to detection and prioritization.
• Technical knowledge to assess feasibility and scope.
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, sales, and customer success.
• A BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security.
