Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions @Elastic

Overview

Elastic is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build and grow Elastic XDR, focusing on security solutions. This role involves owning a core area of the XDR roadmap and working closely with engineering and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap, overseeing detection, correlation, incident building, and response capabilities across various platforms.
• Expand and maintain telemetry and integrations essential for XDR.
• Contribute to Elastic's exposure and vulnerability management.
• Write clear requirements for engineering to act on.
• Represent the product in customer conversations and incorporate feedback into the roadmap.
• Ensure capabilities work across all of Elastic's deployment models.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and go-to-market strategies.
• Create artifacts to track progress and decisions, providing visibility to stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in security-related technical product management.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, or forensics.
• Experience with telemetry and integration of third-party data.
• Understanding of analytics techniques behind detection and prioritization.
• Technical credibility and comfort with AI-augmented work.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration in a remote environment.
• A BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security.
