Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions @Elastic

Overview

Elastic is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help build and grow Elastic XDR. This role focuses on understanding how attacks unfold and improving detection-and-response capabilities across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap from requirements through to shipped product.
• Expand and maintain the telemetry and integrations XDR relies on.
• Contribute to vulnerability management prioritization and remediation workflow.
• Write clear requirements for engineering teams.
• Represent product in customer conversations, bringing insights back into the roadmap.
• Ensure capabilities work across deployment models, including regulated environments.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and go-to-market strategies.
• Create visibility artifacts such as roadmap trackers and decision memos.

Requirements

• 5+ years in security-related technical product management or analysis.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response or forensic practices.
• Experience with telemetry and integration of third-party data sources.
• Understanding of analytics techniques and the cyber threat landscape.
• Technical credibility to communicate effectively with engineering.
• Comfort in customer-facing roles, able to relay complex concepts.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.
• BS or MS in engineering, computer science, or information security.
