Senior Sales Engineer, Commercial @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran is seeking a talented Senior Sales Engineer to join the Commercial sales team. The role focuses on understanding customers’ complex business needs and providing technical expertise to demonstrate how Fivetran’s data replication solutions can help achieve desired business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Commercial customers to understand their business, use cases, and data replication requirements.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to Commercial audiences.
• Ensure the technical win by running an organized proof-of-value process.
• Collaborate with multiple cross-functional organizations to drive improvements at Fivetran.
• Maintain a high level of customer focus and technical excellence while working closely with Sales representatives.
• Stay informed on the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Assist team members with advanced technical or business challenges.

Requirements

• 4+ years in data replication, sales engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong technical background in database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, and BI tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for explaining complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with data replication or ETL tools.
• Experience in networking in both cloud and on-premise environments.
