Senior Sales Engineer, Enterprise @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their Enterprise sales team. The role involves understanding complex business needs of Enterprise customers and demonstrating how Fivetran and dbt Labs' solutions can help achieve desired outcomes. This position is remote, based in Dublin or London.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand Enterprise customers' business, use cases, and data replication requirements.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to Enterprise audiences.
• Run organized proof-of-value processes to ensure technical wins.
• Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to drive improvements at Fivetran.
• Maintain high levels of customer focus and technical excellence while working with Sales representatives.
• Stay updated on industry technologies and trends.
• Assist team members in overcoming advanced technical or business challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data replication, sales engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong technical background in database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies.
• Hands-on experience with DBT and modern data analytics technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with various database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, NoSQL).
• Hands-on experience with other data replication or ETL tools.
• Experience with networking in both cloud and on-premise settings.
