Senior Sales Engineer, Enterprise @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran is seeking a German-speaking Senior Sales Engineer to join their Enterprise sales team. This role is responsible for providing technical expertise to understand complex customer needs and demonstrate how Fivetran’s solutions can achieve desired business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Enterprise customers to understand their business and data replication requirements.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to Enterprise audiences.
• Run an organized proof-of-value process to ensure technical success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements at Fivetran.
• Maintain a high level of focus on customer satisfaction and technical excellence.
• Stay current on industry technologies and trends.
• Assist team members in overcoming advanced technical challenges.

Requirements

• Native/Professional Proficiency in German.
• 5+ years of experience in data replication, sales engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong technical background in database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies.
• Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses and data transformation tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL.
• Experience with other data replication or ETL tools.
• Networking experience in both cloud and on-premise environments.

Location

This is a remote position based in Germany. Preference for candidates located in Munich.
