Senior Sales Engineer, Enterprise - German Speaking @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran is looking for a talented German-speaking Senior Sales Engineer to join their Enterprise sales team. This role involves understanding complex business needs of Enterprise customers and showcasing how Fivetran’s data replication solutions can help achieve their desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Enterprise customers to understand their business, use cases, and data replication requirements.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to Enterprise audiences.
• Ensure the technical win by organizing proof-of-value processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive changes and improvements within Fivetran.
• Maintain a high level of customer focus and technical excellence while working with sales representatives.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
• Assist team members in overcoming advanced technical or business roadblocks.

Requirements

• Native/Professional Proficiency in German.
• 5+ years in data replication, sales engineering, or related technical field.
• Strong technical background covering database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies, with some hands-on experience.
• Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses and BI tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for explaining complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL.
• Hands-on experience with data replication or ETL tools.
• Networking experience in both cloud and on-premise environments.
