Overview
Fivetran is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. The role focuses on enhancing the reliability and performance of Fivetran’s infrastructure as part of a hybrid work model that combines both remote flexibility and in-person collaboration in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor availability, capacity, and throughput of Fivetran’s production infrastructure.
- Evolve systems by integrating reliability into the product roadmap.
- Coordinate the prioritization and resolution of critical bugs for support or sales.
- Interface with engineering to ensure 100% availability of production infrastructure.
- Automate scalable artifact deployment across all environments.
- Monitor infrastructure vulnerabilities and collaborate with the security team to address them.
Requirements
- Expertise in managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, and related tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Buildkite, Pulumi, and ArgoCD.
- Experience in Python/Shell scripting and Go Language; bonus for Java experience.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems administration.
- Experience with cloud networking including Site-to-Site VPNs and Private Service connectivity.
- AI-assisted engineering knowledge for automation and incident analysis.
- 5+ years of experience with SaaS products at scale (bonus).
- Experience with databases like PostgreSQL (bonus).

Location
