Overview

The role involves joining Instacart as a Senior Software Engineer on the Ads team, playing a critical role in developing reporting solutions and enhancing advertising products.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the vision, strategy, and development of a multi-platform reporting system.
• Advocate for data quality, scalability, and correctness standards.
• Initiate new projects and partner with teams to gather customer requirements.
• Maintain and enhance the Ads suite for improved data processing and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience (4+ years).
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Understanding of distributed systems and data processing technologies such as DBT and Airflow.
• Proficiency with SQL for data analysis and debugging.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Collaborative mindset for working with diverse teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to influence stakeholders.
