Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team while leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.

• Support operations and availability of team artifacts by monitoring metrics and managing on-call efforts.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems using languages like Python or Kotlin.
• Experience with highly available distributed systems, including technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to define technical plans for significant features or system components with a simple and extensible design.
• Proven proficiency in making significant changes in a large code base and developing tools for safe implementation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with the global engineering team.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience is required.
