Overview

The Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) will serve as a trusted advisor to strategic customers, ensuring they realize measurable value from their investment in Docker’s platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with assigned enterprise customers, understanding their technical landscape, priorities, and success criteria.
- Drive product adoption and operational maturity by aligning Docker capabilities to customer objectives.
- Conduct regular technical and business reviews to demonstrate value realization and identify growth opportunities.
- Anticipate risks and blockers, developing mitigation plans collaboratively.
- Serve as the primary post-sales technical contact and advocate for assigned accounts.
- Create reusable best practices, reference architectures, and technical playbooks.
- Provide guidance on containerization, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and emerging productivity trends.
- Maintain documentation of customer engagements and progress toward success metrics.
- Support scalable initiatives such as workshops and digital enablement programs.
Requirements
- 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., TAM, Solutions Architect, DevOps Consultant).
- Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC, and cloud-native development practices.
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a global, distributed organization.
