Overview

Vercel is an agentic infrastructure company that shapes how the web is built. The Site Engineer role focuses on driving user acquisition, conversion, and retention through high-performance web experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex frontend projects to enhance brand and product marketing.
• Collaborate with teams to A/B test landing pages for lead generation.
• Design and implement scalable applications and APIs with a focus on user experience.
• Contribute to the design system and uphold UX standards.
• Improve engineering processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Write technical documentation and maintain internal tools.
• Provide feedback on contributions from other engineers.
• Identify bottlenecks to optimize conversion and reliability.
• Consider foundational areas of the application for maintenance and extensibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience (React, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS).
• Proficiency in Next.js and understanding of modern frontend frameworks.
• Full stack experience with API design or consumption.
• Understanding of SEO principles and conversion rate optimization.
• Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to user experience and design detail.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Location

Remote - United States. In-office anchor days are required if within commuting distance of San Francisco, New York, London, or Berlin.
