Software Architect - Enterprise AI @Twilio

Overview

Twilio is seeking a Software Architect - Enterprise AI to define and drive the vision and software architecture for AI/ML platforms across all business functions. This remote position is open to candidates based in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and communicate long-term architectural vision, aligning teams and leadership.
• Lead cross-product architecture reviews and drive technical investments.
• Mentor and guide principal and staff engineers towards engineering excellence.
• Develop AI agents and solutions to enhance business productivity.
• Collaborate with different verticals to implement new AI/ML solutions.
• Present AI Engineering plans to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in designing and scaling distributed systems and platforms.
• Expertise in system design, reliability, scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Demonstrated technical vision and strategy skills at an enterprise level.
• Ability to resolve complex technical problems and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
