Overview
Twilio is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain reliable applications for its supply insights and trust. The role requires collaboration with product managers, architects, and other engineers to develop features for Messaging Supply products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy features alongside a distributed collaborative team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build user experiences for developers and end users.
- Write unit, integration, and load tests, conducting thorough code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within your team's domain.
- Build new features for internal and customer-facing applications.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with full-stack software engineering.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, web stack, and framework.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, or Dropwizard.
- Experience with React or other web development frameworks.
- Good understanding of DevOps CI/CD pipeline.
- Experience in agile/scrum methodologies.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience documenting solutions and proposals.
