Software Engineer - Full Stack @Figma

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship high-quality features across the stack, including front-end experiences and scalable back-end systems.
• Contribute to new product development and improvements, balancing user experience with performance and architecture quality.
• Own projects end-to-end, including ideation, technical design, implementation, testing, launch, and iteration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Product, Design, Research, and Data to influence product direction and strategy.
• Operate, monitor, and continuously improve systems with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to team culture through code reviews, design critiques, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in shipping and maintaining full-stack applications in production.
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React/TypeScript) and back-end technologies (e.g., Ruby, Python, Go, C++, PostgreSQL).
• A product mindset, able to translate user needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working effectively across teams.
• Passion for engineering craft and building maintainable, scalable systems.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude).
