    Overview

    The role of Software Engineer II at Jamf focuses on enabling secure, governed adoption of autonomous and agentic workflows through the development of production systems. This hybrid position requires presence in Brno, Czech Republic, or candidates with sponsorship to live and work in the Czech Republic.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build production systems where AI agents perform real work on real code, ensuring changes run within deterministic gates and have independent verification.
    • Break customer and platform problems into manageable pieces with an agile team, owning issues end-to-end.
    • Design trust boundaries and least-privilege models for automation that holds elevated access to production.
    • Build evaluation and observability systems that maintain accuracy and detect degradation proactively.
    • Provide audit evidence that controls functioned as intended.
    • Collaborate with security engineering and development teams to clarify complex concepts for the organization.
    • Incorporate engineering best practices to enhance collective problem-solving and performance.

    Requirements

    Must-have:

    • 3+ years of experience building enterprise-grade software.
    • 3+ years of commercial experience in Java or Python.
    • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks.
    • Experience using AI-driven coding assistants to enhance productivity.
    • Strong judgment regarding automation policies and vulnerability management.
    • Experience with agile methodologies and build systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
    • A proven ability to foster trust and rapport in a collaborative environment.

    Nice-to-have:

    • Knowledge of software supply chain security practices.
    • Experience running AI coding agents at scale.
    • Understanding of AI governance in security contexts.
    • Experience in regulated environments such as SOC 2 or FedRAMP.
