Sr. Principal Product Manager @Twilio

Overview

Twilio is seeking a Senior Principal, Product Manager to drive the strategic vision for the Developer Platform. The role involves managing foundational services, APIs, and infrastructure while creating proactive, self-service experiences for internal teams and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Platform Roadmap, defining a multi-quarter strategy for foundational services.
• Transition the platform to self-service by establishing paved roads and service catalogs.
• Lead cross-functional integration with Engineering, Architecture, and Security to ensure extensible and compliant solutions.
• Champion continuous improvements in APIs, SDKs, and sandbox environments to enhance developer productivity.
• Establish governance frameworks and KPI dashboards to optimize platform usage.
• Deeply understand customer needs to advocate for customer-centric practices.
• Align stakeholders across the organization to ensure their needs are incorporated into product planning.

Requirements

• 12+ years of product management experience with large scale cloud services platforms.
• Proven track record of achieving ambitious goals and taking responsibility for customer and business outcomes.
• Ability to drive significant changes while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
• Strong communication skills with executive presence to influence decision-making.
• Data-driven and outcome-oriented mindset, with problem-solving capabilities.
• Customer obsession and passion for enhancing the customer experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
