Key Responsibilities

• Feature ownership: Manage complex features end-to-end, delivering in small, shippable increments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a proven track record in SaaS product features.
• Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C++.
• Deep understanding of scalable web architecture, API design, and performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Skilled in designing and writing various types of tests (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Familiar with safe deployment practices (feature flags, canary releases).
• Active use of AI tools in software development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Location

This role is based in the Pendo Raleigh office, with a hybrid culture requiring in-office work 3 days per week unless designated remote.
