Staff Enterprise Security Engineer @Databricks

Overview

Databricks is hiring an L6 Staff Enterprise Security Engineer to expand Enterprise Security coverage across a rapidly evolving enterprise and product environment, focusing on securing applications and data flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure enterprise applications, cross-system integrations, and data flows.
• Conduct security reviews of implementation designs and configurations.
• Identify risks, define security requirements, and improve security outcomes.
• Partner with the Data team, Product Engineering, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Assess new technologies and workflows with a focus on secure design.
• Build security automation processes for monitoring and tooling.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering or related fields.
• Experience conducting security design or architecture reviews.
• Hands-on familiarity with Databricks or comparable data/AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Proven track record of building security automation in production.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and core control domains.
