The role of Staff Software Developer in the DevX team at Robinhood involves developing and operating the core developer infrastructure that supports thousands of engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Architect the technical strategy and roadmap for developer infrastructure, including CI, SCM, and development environments.

• Lead initiatives for developer onboarding and improve productivity for engineers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize build and CI patterns and reduce developer friction.
• Provide technical mentorship to engineers and establish best-practice guidelines.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in designing and operating critical developer infrastructure and CI systems.
• Subject-matter expertise in modern build systems (e.g., Bazel) and CI/CD at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Go or Python.
• Proven ability to guide complex technical initiatives and align execution with objectives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
