Overview

Twilio is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join its Enterprise AI Engineering team. This remote role, based in Canada, focuses on building innovative software solutions that utilize AI to enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-lead the design and development of software infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Drive the development of sophisticated, stateful web applications and oversee integration with backend services.
• Serve as a development leader in distributed systems and data technologies.
• Mentor and elevate a team of high-performing engineers through code reviews and workshops.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Adhere to data quality, integrity, and security standards throughout the data lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or software development, including 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Experience with full-stack development and modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Typescript, or React.
• Deep understanding of data infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
