    Overview

    The Staff Web Engineer joins Harvey's Web team as the senior technical leader for the architecture, data foundations, and systems integration behind harvey.ai. This role owns the technical strategy for the platform, ensuring that the web presence evolves rapidly and supports the company's growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own the architecture of Harvey's web platform end to end.
    • Design and build data foundations and integration patterns connecting the website to marketing, analytics, CRM, and GTM systems.
    • Establish automation, CI/CD, preview/deploy tooling, and robust automated testing.
    • Set observability standards for the web platform.
    • Lead the application of AI and ML to web workflows.
    • Collaborate with Security and Infrastructure for platform security.
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the front-end-focused team.

    Requirements

    • 8+ years of Web Engineering experience with deep back-end and systems expertise.
    • Strong command of modern web stack technologies (React/Next.js, TypeScript).
    • Experience with headless CMS and content platforms.
    • Proven ability to build and operate reliable production systems.
    • Fluency in data infrastructure fundamentals.
    • Experience with integrating AI/ML capabilities into web experiences.
    • Demonstrated mentoring abilities and influence across functions.
    • Nice to have: experience with Vercel platform and marketing/GTM systems integration.

    Benefits

    Compensation ranges from $146,600 to $201,500 USD.

    Remote, with preference for candidates in the United States.
