    Overview

    Fivetran is seeking a Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Senior Manager to support complex accounting matters and enhance the internal control and reporting environment in a fast-growing SaaS company. This is a full-time position, based out of Denver, Colorado, with a hybrid work model allowing for remote flexibility and in-person collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research, analyze, and document technical accounting issues, preparing calculations to support accounting conclusions and facilitate external audit reviews in accordance with US GAAP.
    • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, leading implementation of significant changes.
    • Work with external valuation specialists to ensure accurate and timely transaction valuations, managing inputs and reviewing deliverables.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to ensure technical guidance is operationalized and understood.
    • Support initiatives for enhancing external reporting readiness, addressing complex accounting topics and disclosures.
    • Design and implement efficient, SOX-compliant accounting processes and internal controls.
    • Partner with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate conclusions on accounting matters.
    • Provide training and mentorship to team members on technical accounting topics.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license required.
    • 7+ years of combined experience in Big 4 public accounting and/or corporate accounting at a SaaS or high-growth technology company.
    • Demonstrated technical accounting expertise, including experience drafting memos on complex transactions.
    • Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX).
    • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (Netsuite and Workiva preferred).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
    • Prior experience as part of an S-1 filing or IPO project team (bonus).
    • Experience with automation and AI tools to drive efficiency (bonus).
