Technical Accounting & Reporting Senior Manager @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Senior Manager. This role is key in supporting complex accounting matters and building scalable processes in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and document technical accounting issues and prepare calculations for external audit reviews in accordance with US GAAP.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, leading significant changes.
• Work with external valuation specialists to ensure accurate and timely complex transaction valuations.
• Collaborate across various departments to operationalize technical guidance.
• Support initiatives to enhance external reporting readiness, including disclosures and process improvements.
• Design and implement efficient, SOX-compliant accounting processes and internal controls.
• Partner with external auditors to ensure accurate conclusions on accounting matters.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on technical accounting topics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license required.
• 7+ years of experience in Big 4 public accounting and/or corporate accounting at a SaaS or high-growth company.
• Demonstrated technical accounting expertise, with experience drafting memos on complex transactions.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX).
• Experience supporting companies with increasing external reporting and audit complexity.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; Netsuite and Workiva preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Location
