Technical Customer Support Engineer - EMEA @ClickHouse

Overview

ClickHouse is growing its support team and is seeking a Technical Customer Support Engineer to join the global Support Engineering team. This role involves providing excellent service to customers across EMEA and will include various tasks related to customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support ClickHouse users, customers, and prospects via cases, chat, Slack, community, and meetings.
• Develop solutions based on ClickHouse Cloud and open-source projects for documentation, knowledge sharing, and training.
• Work with global Support Services, Engineering, Go to Market, and Product Management teams to define required functionalities.
• Assist in mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues, users, and customers.
• Deliver excellent customer service and provide professional response per Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Build strong, trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge in ClickHouse open-source or Cloud, SQL databases, OLAP, cloud-native SaaS, distributed systems.
• Previous experience as a Support Engineer, Consultant, Database Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
• Ability to provide 24x7 support in a global, distributed environment.
• Strong communication skills and reliable remote work capabilities.
• Team-oriented with a mindset of empathy and problem-solving.
• Self-driven, curious, and eager to learn and grow.
