Technical Lead- Fullstack @Juniper Square

Overview

Juniper Square is seeking a Full Stack Technical Lead to architect, design, and oversee the development of scalable web applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise, preferably in Python (FastAPI), along with solid frontend experience using ReactJS and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of full-stack applications, guiding engineering teams and mentoring developers.
• Define coding standards, enforce code quality, and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Architect and build backend services using Python/FastAPI or Java.
• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs focused on performance and security.
• Develop modern web applications using ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, implementing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring system observability.
• Drive discussions on scalability, distributed architecture, and cloud-native engineering practices.
• Leverage AI tools and frameworks to enhance product capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI preferred) or Java, ReactJS, TypeScript, and REST/GraphQL API development.
• Experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and CI/CD pipelines.
