Technical Program Manager - Infrastructure @Figma

Overview

Figma is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive key cross-company engineering initiatives within the Infrastructure team. This full-time role is focused on scaling Figma's infrastructure and ensuring project delivery through collaboration across various technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution, coordination, and risk management of infrastructure projects, ensuring integration with minimal performance impact.
• Drive initiatives in reliability, storage, distributed systems, and compliance programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, compliance, and legal teams for alignment and timely delivery.
• Track milestones and delivery across multiple teams including security engineering.
• Provide regular updates on infrastructure program status to executive leadership and partners.
• Develop best practices for infrastructure program management to improve visibility into progress and risks.
• Facilitate testing and rollout strategies for infrastructure changes to minimize downtime.
• Translate technical constraints into clear communications for stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Infrastructure TPM or similar roles, with experience in cloud-native architectures.
• Deep technical expertise across infrastructure components like storage (S3, RDS), caching (Redis), and distributed systems.
• Experience managing large-scale programs such as migrations and reliability initiatives.
• Strong cross-functional program management skills in performance tracking and optimizing SLAs.
• Proven stakeholder management skills engaging external partners and translating technical challenges.
