    Overview

    The Technology Disaster Recovery Manager at Jamf will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the business continuity management program to ensure disaster resilience. Reporting to the Director of Business Continuity, this role is critical for driving orchestrated recovery execution and maintaining Jamf’s technology stack runbooks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the development of disaster recovery operations and runbooks, collaborating with Product Development & Delivery.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to elevate disaster recovery operations to a strategic priority.
    • Engineer and operate disaster recovery solutions across multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS and Azure).
    • Manage the annual disaster recovery roadmap and exercise calendar; coordinate test execution and reporting.
    • Lead functional disaster recovery exercises, identifying improvement opportunities and embedding lessons learned.
    • Coordinate notification and escalation during disaster recovery operations and maintain internal continuity documentation.
    • Ensure architectural alignment and validate disaster recovery strategies against relevant standards.
    • Monitor global threats and events, alerting key stakeholders of risks.
    • Manage the global emergency notification system to ensure compliance with testing requirements.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 6 years of experience in business continuity and disaster recovery.
    • Working knowledge of operating systems, networking, cloud technology, and security tools.
    • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance is preferred.
    • Familiarity with BC/DR planning software and emergency management is a plus.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate disaster recovery strategies for executive and technical audiences.
    • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, a related field, or business administration.
    • Relevant certifications in business continuity or disaster recovery are preferred.
