Overview

The Kukah Centre (TKC) is currently inviting applications from qualified individuals to join its team as Election Field Observers for deployment in Osun State. This role contributes directly to credible election monitoring and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Observe and document electoral activities at assigned polling units and communities
Collect accurate, unbiased, and timely data on election processes
Report incidents, irregularities, and notable developments during elections
Support the Centre’s mission by ensuring transparency and accountability in electoral processes
Maintain strict neutrality, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
Submit structured field reports within specified deadlines
Engage with assigned field coordination teams for briefing and debriefing sessions

Requirements

Strong commitment to democracy, civic responsibility, and national development
High levels of integrity, objectivity, and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in dynamic field environments
Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills
Familiarity with electoral processes (an added advantage)
Willingness to travel and work in assigned locations within Osun State
Prior experience in election observation, civic engagement, research, or field data collection is advantageous but not mandatory
