Overview

Elastic is seeking a Corporate Counsel with over 4 years of experience to join its International Commercial Legal team in the UK. This role is suited for a self-sufficient attorney capable of handling the legal lifecycle of public sector contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full legal lifecycle of public sector contracts, ensuring compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Support Sales & RFP Teams during procurement processes, reviewing requirements, drafting legal responses, and advising on terms.
• Collaborate with Legal Directors and other internal stakeholders in the UK, France, and globally.
• Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments, advising the business accordingly.
• Improve workflow processes within the Legal Department and enhance compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified to practice law in the United Kingdom with 4+ years of experience in technology contracts with public sector clients.
• Strong knowledge of public procurement law and related cybersecurity obligations.
• Experience managing technology contracts, preferably for public sector entities.
• Able to balance legal risks with business strategy effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
