Overview
Fivetran is seeking a strategic, highly credible, and experienced Vice President of Investor Relations to lead and scale its investor relations function. This role serves as the primary liaison between Fivetran and the investment community, communicating financial performance, strategic vision, and long-term growth narrative.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the Investor Relations function, establishing strategy, processes, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and key external stakeholders.
- Craft and deliver the investment narrative, aligning messaging with business performance and financial results.
- Lead quarterly earnings preparation and calls, including financial scriptwriting and analyst engagement.
- Partner with the CFO and VP of Finance & Strategy to translate complex financial data into compelling communications.
- Own investor marketing strategies, including non-deal roadshows and conferences.
- Monitor and report investor sentiment, peer benchmarks, and market trends.
- Ensure all public financial disclosures meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Legal, Communications, and Finance to manage disclosure processes and compliance.
- Support strategic finance activities, including fundraising and public company readiness.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic communications, ideally in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
- Deep understanding of financial modeling and SaaS metrics.
- Experience engaging with public investors, analysts, and rating agencies.
- Proven ability to craft compelling investor narratives.
- Strong emotional intelligence and executive presence.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize financial insights into actionable messaging.
- IPO experience or late-stage private company readiness preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills across Finance, Legal, and Comms.

Location
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Oakland, CA, or Denver, CO, requiring two days in the office each week.
