Overview

Vercel is seeking a Visual Designer to join their Website Design Engineering team, responsible for designing impactful web pages and systems that enhance the Vercel brand across digital and physical mediums.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the visual language for Vercel's key platforms, including vercel.com and nextjs.org.
• Create memorable experiences through animations, event environments, and brand-partnership work.
• Own the creative vision from concept to production, collaborating with design engineers.
• Set the craft standard for typography, motion, and detail in web pages.
• Work fluidly across mediums like web, motion, 3D, and identity.
• Contribute to the effective design system and shared patterns.

Requirements

• 8+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio in brand systems.
• Exceptional visual design instincts with a focus on web-based work.
• Hands-on experience in motion, illustration, event design, and interaction.
• Ability to think in systems and create reusable design components.
• Experience working with engineers and understanding web layout behaviour.
• Self-starter with strong collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Vercel or relevant technology-driven environments is preferred.
