Overview

The role of Account Manager, SMB at Hiya focuses on helping small to medium-sized business (SMB) customers across the UK and Europe succeed. This position plays a vital part in the company's growth within its Hiya Connect branded calling product, which allows businesses to enhance their communication with trusted calling experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of 300+ SMB accounts across the UK and Europe, responsible for renewals and expansions.
• Manage accounts in German, French, or Spanish, in addition to English.
• Triage accounts daily to determine needed interventions.
• Conduct proactive outreach to at-risk accounts to prevent churn.
• Identify expansion signals and convert them into upsell opportunities.
• Forecast portfolio performance and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Analyze account patterns to improve service delivery for SMB customers.
• Balance immediate renewal pressures with long-term account health.

Requirements

• 2+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or a commercial SaaS role.
• Proven track record of handling renewals and expansions.
• Strong commercial instinct for identifying and pursuing growth opportunities.
• Effective communication skills with customers and stakeholders.
• Able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Business-level proficiency in German, French, or Spanish, alongside English.
