Analytics Lead, Full Stack @Affirm

Overview

Affirm is seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join their Growth Analytics International team. This remote role will be instrumental in establishing the operational analytics framework for new international markets, starting with Australia and expanding globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and evolve the operational analytics framework for new international markets, ensuring scalable measurement, reporting, and decision-making capabilities.
• Proactively identify opportunities through analysis to enhance user experience, growth, and profitability.
• Translate analytical insights into recommendations and optimization strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
• Define success metrics, generate insights, track performance, and create dashboards and reports.
• Identify core hypotheses and design actionable experiments to validate product-market fit.
• Translate analytical findings into clear narratives for leadership.
• Conduct weekly cross-functional metric reviews and suggest actionable steps.
• Partner effectively across various teams to align strategies and execute business objectives.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts to deliver high-impact work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitatively rigorous subject area such as statistics, mathematics, finance, or economics.
• 5+ years of proven success in a cross-functional analytical role.
• Strong understanding of the consumer lending and credit industry.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of A/B testing.
• Experience with SQL and statistical analysis using Python.
• Ability to balance multiple workstreams and prioritize analytics roadmaps.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous experience mentoring and guiding junior analysts.
