Overview

The role of Business Systems Engineer at Lyft involves generating and customizing reports, maintaining business intelligence tools, and enhancing financial planning models. The position is fully remote and available to candidates based in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and customize reports summarizing business and financial data.
• Maintain and update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, and systems to analyze customer business requirements.
• Build and enhance Anaplan models based on design specifications and best practices.
• Translate business requirements into functional model components and develop data integrations.
• Design financial planning and analysis (FP&A) use cases, and automate processes and data integrations.
• Create user-friendly dashboards and reports for business users.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and provide end-user support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in a similar role or related occupation.
• Experience with business intelligence and process flows using Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Experience with Anaplan or similar enterprise performance management.
• Ability to translate unstructured business problems into defined requirements.
• Experience in data transformation and process automation using Python or a similar scripting language.
