Certification Manager @ClickHouse

Overview

The Learning Team at ClickHouse is expanding its certification program and seeks a Certification Manager. This role involves developing certification exams and building a community around qualified ClickHouse professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing performance-based hands-on ClickHouse certification exams on use cases like real-time analytics, observability, and data warehousing.
• Working with company subject matter experts to create job task analyses for exams.
• Grading and maintaining certification exams, including writing grading scripts.
• Developing quizzes for course-completion badges and deploying quizzes for ClickHouse credentials.
• Establishing a community presence for ClickHouse certified professionals using social media and attending user conferences and meetups.
• Tracking and reporting metrics and KPIs of the certification program.
• Collaborating with certification and badging vendors to ensure exam and badge delivery.
• Handling customer support for learners interested in certification.
• Occasional travel to meetups and conferences to promote ClickHouse to the community.

Requirements

• A self-motivated attitude to complete projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proven experience in developing certification exams and quizzes for technical audiences.
• Experience with SQL.
• Technical breadth in subjects like DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems, and big data.
• High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
