    Overview

    Brex is an intelligent finance platform that enables companies to spend smarter and move faster in over 200 markets. The Client Development Representative (CDR) role involves managing customer engagement and expansion within an assigned book of Brex's existing customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive daily customer outreach across email, phone, and social channels to generate a qualified pipeline for expansion.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio, helping existing customers get more value from Brex.
    • Identify and advance expansion opportunities by connecting Brex solutions to measurable business outcomes.
    • Lead structured discovery calls; develop commercial proposals and negotiate deal terms.
    • Develop an understanding of customer workflows, accounting processes, and financial priorities.
    • Build relationships with finance stakeholders, tailoring value messaging to surface risks early.
    • Partner with internal teams to balance customer needs with commercial impact.
    • Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM hygiene, activity tracking, and stakeholder communication.
    • Advocate for customers by sharing feedback and insights to improve the product experience.

    Requirements

    • 2+ years of customer-facing experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated interest in building a sales career.
    • Strong urgency and adaptability in customer conversations.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence internal partners.
    • Coachability, resilience, and a growth mindset.
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.

    Benefits

    The expected OTE range for this role is $82,535 - $92,852 USD. Compensation includes base salary and commissions, with potential equity and other forms of compensation.

    Location

    This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three coordinated in-office days per week at Brex locations including New York City, San Francisco, Vancouver, or Seattle, as well as up to four weeks of fully remote work per year.
