Trigger.dev is an open-source platform that enables developers to build production-grade AI agents. The Design Engineer role involves enhancing UX and visual quality across the product and marketing surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build high-quality, polished UI across the web app and marketing site.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop new features with a focus on design and UX.
- Own design decisions end-to-end, from concept to production code.
- Build and evolve the design system and component library.
- Improve accessibility, responsiveness, and interaction polish on existing product surfaces.
- Prototype new ideas quickly in code and static mockups.
- Instill a stronger design/UX sensibility across the engineering team.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing design quality and production UI skills.
- Expertise in modern frontend engineering, particularly React and TypeScript (Remix).
- Sharp eye for visual and interaction details.
- Comfort with driving design decisions from problem statements.
- Remote candidates must be within CET to ET timezones (GMT+1:00 to GMT-5:00).
