Overview

1Password is looking for an Intermediate Software Developer to contribute to the digital safety of millions. The role involves delivering meaningful product improvements and customer-facing features while working within a remote team spanning the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship new features, product improvements, and bug fixes.
• Own delivery of small-to-medium scoped projects with minimal oversight.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle: planning, implementation, testing, release, and post-launch support.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code, and contribute to evolving testing strategies.
• Document work clearly and provide thoughtful code reviews.
• Collaborate with customer support to investigate issues and prioritize customer feedback.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Go and knowledge of the tools and technologies to complete tasks independently.
• Experience with authorization or identity systems and understanding of access control and permissions.
• Ability to navigate existing codebases and propose improvements.
• A quality mindset focused on testing, maintainability, and clarity in code and documentation.
• Strong communication skills to share progress and help stakeholders understand outcomes.
• Collaborative approach with a willingness to seek and incorporate feedback.
