Overview

Instacart is transforming the grocery industry by inviting the world to share love through food. The company is seeking a Director of Product Partnerships to lead and shape its strategic partnerships across logistics, retail technology, and enterprise products as it expands into new product areas and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year partnership strategy that aligns with Instacart's product vision.
• Lead the partnerships team to operate at a higher level, with clear ownership and frameworks for deal evaluation.
• Influence product and engineering roadmap decisions as a strategic partner.
• Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with critical external partners.
• Deliver at least one innovative deal in a new product area or international market.
• Ensure the team has a playbook for repeatable success in partnerships.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in business development, product partnerships, or strategic alliances in technology.
• Experience building and leading high-performing partnerships teams.
• Proven ability to close complex, non-standard partnership agreements with C-suite executives.
• Strong financial and analytical skills for business case development and ROI communication.
• Ability to provide clarity and direction without a predefined roadmap.
